Support Services to Student Groups and Societies

SDS Student Activities Team supports services and organisation of student activities of different student groups and societies. Provision of services includes venue booking, loan and return of equipment, support in organising large scale activities on campus, etc.

  1. Venue Booking
    There are multiple venues under the supervision of SDS, including the rooms located in flow centre, the multipurpose rooms, film room, band room, music rooms, quiet room and studio. These venues are available for booking for their individual usages. For details please refer to Student Activity Venue.

  3. Loan and Return of Equipment
    A list of equipment and furniture are available for booking through the Portal. Student Leaders may register as bearer of student groups or society to be eligible to book equipment online.

  4. Support in Organising Large Scale Activities on Campus
    SDS supports the organisation of large scale activities on campus such as welfare sales on campus. Student leaders may submit forms for Organizing SU Mega Sales on Campus. There are also some important notes for SU Societies on Organizing Student Activities Using Campus Venues.

  5. Staying Overnight
    There are occasions where student leaders may need to prepare for events. With legitimate reasons,
    student leaders will be permitted to stay overnight on campus upon approval of the Application Form for Staying Overnight
